30 Hours Funding

| Comment 0

If your child is aged 3 or 4 you may be entitled to up to 30 hours free childcare a week. If you earn more than the equivalent of 16 hours at the national living wage or minimum wage per week: for example, £120 per week if you are 25 or older.

There is no requirement to work a certain amount of hours per week – it is all about how much you earn. This applies if you are self-employed or on a zero hours contract.

HMRC will look at data such as your previous earnings to consider whether you are likely to meet the criteria and may contact you for further information if they are unsure.

How To Apply:

You can find out if you are eligible for the 30 hours funding via the Childcare Choices website.

You will be asked to complete some basic information about your circumstances. If you live with a partner you may also be asked to complete the same information for them.

If you are eligible you will be given an 11 digit code that you will need to give to Aimee or Leanne. We will then check the code and enter it into our system.

You will need to reconfirm your eligibility every 3 months – this is normally sent via the email you signed up to the Childcare Choices website with.

If you would like more information on the 30 Hours Funding please speak to Aimee or Leanne.
